Well, Jason, since you asked, there’s a lot you can do for us! Because if this week’s sublime weather hasn’t already done enough to convince you, now is the time to get outside and get that garden, lawn and landscaping in order.
“It started really slow, and I think it’s really just getting going this week,” Owner Dale Smith said of spring’s start in 2023.
And if you didn’t already know, Jason is just about the best there is at helping us get ready for spring and summer. These days, he can show you gorgeous plant starts from Coast Fork Nursery or Sunnyside Sams, both about as local as a business can be. He’ll walk you through a great selection of herbs and aromatics, pepper and squash plants, all of which are heirloom, non-GMO, and tried-and-true producers in our area.
If you’re still getting your soil in order, Jason can help you choose the right soil amendments and fertilizers from Down To Earth Home, Garden & Gift and Garden & Bloom. We’ve got plant pots of all sizes – up to 20 gallons – and soil testing kits.
If you’ve yet to plant seeds, don’t worry – it’s not too late! We’ve still got a great selection of seeds from Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Company and the Seed Savers Exchange.
We’ve been helping our favorite community get ready for spring and summer for over a decade, so we just know we’ve got what you need. So stop in soon – Jason will be expecting you!
