We typically carry baby chicks each year between late February and through May or so, until they all have homes. Normally we only carry baby chickens, but sometimes we may carry other poultry. It just depends upon the year and what our customers have an interest in.
In past seasons we have carried Rhode Island Reds, Blue Plymouth Rocks, Inova Browns, Color Packs (Easter Eggers) Dominant Coppers and more. We get our chicks from local breeders just as soon as they have hatched out to help ensure that none (or as few as possible) are lost in transport and that they are healthy before they arrive.
Of course, we also have the feed and care supplies for your entire flock, whether they’re babies or full grown birds!
