Help us fix Buster! Join us Friday, April 23 for the limited release of “The General”, our Imperial IPA to commemorate the famous Buster Keaton epic of the same name that was filmed right here in Cottage Grove. A portion of each pint of “The General” purchased this night will go to the mural project. There will also be a chance to donate as well.
Coast Fork Master Brewer, Stephen Mathys, has created a special Commemorative Small Batch Northwest Imperial IPA, “The General”, to honor Buster Keaton’s historic filming of the masterwork silent film of the same name, here in Cottage Grove, 1926.
Here are “The General” stats: 8.5% ABV, 100+ IBU.
There will be great live music by Tobi D’amore, a Brewstation favorite, and you’ll get some updates on the mural restoration project, see some historic images, and learn some cool behind the scenes info by local historians on the impact Buster Keaton had on Cottage Grove.
