Pine and cedar shavings are great for areas where animals spend a lot of time, such as in dog runs. Cedar is great for dog run areas, as it has a smell that many people find pleasant and that is also mildly flea repellent. (It’s not advisable to use cedar shavings as bedding for bird cages or poultry coops, because it can be irritating to avian respiratory systems.)
Pine pellets also work well as bedding or animal run lining. They also work well for rabbit and cat litter boxes.
We also carry straw, the good, old-fashioned standby bedding.
