Actually, as she’s quick to point out, Marjory House never really actually left us. We hired Marjory at the same time as stalwarts such as Heather Endicott, and since moving on from her position at the Brewstation, she’s continued to make an impact here.
Marjory grew fantastic salad greens for the Brewstation until the pandemic changed the landscape for local restaurants, and she’s been babysitting for Heather and Stephen (typically while one or both of them is here) for years. She’s also emceed our Christmas party for about a decade.
“It’s still all in the family,” she says. “Tim (partner Tim Wilson) also works sometimes at (our owner) Dale and Ernie’s, so it’s definitely a family atmosphere, of helping each other out.”
In that vein, she’s thrilled to come help out here at Coast Fork Feed Store two days a week, and we’re thrilled to offer her expertise in gardening, beekeeping, cider, food preservation, and on and on.
“It’s great that there are such quality products here,” she said. “I can really feel good about what I’m selling.”
