The Saturday after Thanksgiving is Small Business Saturday. That’s great! However, we encourage you to shop local every day. It helps support our local people and the local economy, and it saves on transportation costs (read as: more environmentally friendly and sustainable). AND we practice what we preach! We select as many products as we can (both to use in the public house’s kitchen, as well as in our feed store) all year round. And when we can’t find the products you need here locally, we then check for producers in Oregon, and the Pacific Northwest. If we can’t find those products in those areas, we go on to look for smaller, family-run producers in the USA, or even other areas of the world.
