We carry local honey and beeswax from Covered Bridge Honey, grown and harvested right here in Cottage Grove!
Local honey has been found to have many health benefits — full of antioxidants, antibacterials and anti-fungal properties; local honey has been said to boost immunity, rein in seasonal allergies, sooth colds and sore throats, and help with digestion. Beeswax has been used to waterproof wood (like barrel wax), make candles (a good old fashioned candle wax), polish furniture, create lip balms and salves, seal old fashioned canning jars, make traditional holiday ornaments… and so many more uses.
We offer honey in jars or in bulk, and beeswax in small or large bricks. (Look for our beekeeping supplies as well, if you manage your own hives.)
